Christian Frosi was born in Milan in 1973. His process-based works function on the ephemeral and the playful. They are often the photo-documentation of performances, traces of the event. For ‘Foam’ (2003), he realized a cloud of foam spilling over a terrace and invading the surrounding buildings and streets. At the Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo in Turin, he installed a sand dune inside the exhibition space linked to an inflatable airship floating under the ceiling. Frosi proposes open scenarios, constantly interrogating our habits of visual perceptions.
Christian Frosi most recent exhibitions include: Ambient Tour, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin, (2007); Video report Italia 2004_05, MMSU Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Rijeka, (2007); Candida Höfer - Christian Frosi, Galerie Rüdiger Schöttle, Munich, (2006); The Endless Summer, Westlondonprojects, London, (2006); T1 Torino Triennale Tremusei, T1 Torino Trienniale, Turin, (2006); Group Show - We Disagree,
